Nottingham Forest boss Stuart Pearce is confident he has the support of his players.
The Reds suffered FA Cup humiliation crashing out to Rochdale in the third round last weekend.
They have also won just TWICE in the Championship since beating Fulham in September.
Pearce, whose mid-table team host Sheffield Wednesday today, said: "The players will come out fighting.
"Looking round at the dressing room there was a real sense of hurt. In a bizarre way that pleased me. It hurt their pride to lose at Rochdale. That told me everything.
"The only people that can influence things at this club is the players.
"I still feel I have their support. I have a lot of good men."
