Giampaolo Pazzini is upset with the way Sampdoria are treating teammate Antonio Cassano.

The Blucerchiati have asked that Cassano's contract be rescinded following an argument with Riccardo Garrone.

Pazzini told Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's a difficult situation. We can't do anything about it. But we are following the affair with trepidation.

"Antonio is a champion, but he is also a friend and I am very sorry to see such a great talent like him out of the team."
