Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is poised to move to Lokomotiv Moscow on Friday. Tottenham agreed a fee of £8million with Lokomotiv for the transfer of the 30-year-old on Tuesday and he underwent a medical in the Russian capital on Thursday.
A statement on the Russian club's website said the player will sign a contract on Friday afternoon.
Pavlyuchenko is still allowed to join Lokomotiv as Russia's transfer window does not close until February 24.
