Tottenham have extended the stay of striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian international was set to come out of contract in the summer but his agent, Oleg Artemov, has revealed that Spurs took the option to add a further year to his deal which occurred late last year.
"They informed UEFA, FIFA and the English FA that they have extended the contract by a year. This happened about two or three months ago, so this is already quite old news.""Tottenham, headed by Mr [Daniel] Levy, had the option of extending his contract, and they have done so," Artemov told Russian website Championat.
