Paulo Sousa is set to take charge of Salernitana today.

The former Fiorentina coach will replace Davide Nicola after his dismissal on Tuesday.

TMW says Sousa's deal will be finalised this morning, with the Portuguese to sign to the end of the season with a 12 month option.

The option will be triggered if Salernitana manage to stay up.

He is also expected to take charge of training later today.
