Paulo Futre slaughters Blatter for mocking Real Madrid star Ronaldo

Portuguese legend Paulo Futre has slammed FIFA president Sepp Blatter for his mocking of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. Blatter has since been forced to apologise for his comments made at the Oxford Union last week.

Futre told Marca: "There are no words to define what Blatter said about Cristiano. I'm angry, something like this should not come from the person who leads football.

"I know Cristiano Ronaldo and besides being a great player, he's a great son and a great brother. He has built up much respect as a person and as a player.

"Blatter has shown his hate, but Cristiano will talk on the field. He has offended the best player in the world."
