Parma have been forced to retract a statement on their website announcing the sale of Sebastian Giovinco to Juventus.

A statement on the Ducali's official site looked to have rubberstamped the deal, but as a later statement confirmed, it was posted in error.

"Parma announce that contrary to what appeared for a few seconds on their official website, they have not reached an agreement with Juventus for their share of Sebastian Giovinco.

"Fcparma.com apologises for the incorrect statement."
