Parma are closing on a deal for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian.

ParmaLive reports United are willing to send Darmian on-loan to Parma, with personal terms still to be discussed.

Parma will need United to cover a percentage of the fullback's wages for the move to be settled.

Darmian is also interesting Juventus and Valencia as the days tick down to the market deadline.

However, it is now Parma which are close to clinching an agreement for the former Torino fullback.
