Parma chief Melli urges Giovinco to stay

Sebastian Giovinco has been urged to stay with Parma.

Giovinco is part-owned with Juventus and a summer switch is expected given the transfer interest in him.

"I hope that he can stay here with us for one more year," Parma team manager Alessandro Melli told Sky Sport Italia.

"I think it would help his professional growth if he was to remain for one more campaign at the Stadio Tardini.

"I believe that he can become a great player. If he can marry quality with consistency then I do think that he can also have a satisfying international career."
