Parma chief Pietro Leonardi has confirmed they want to extend the stay of Inter Milan attacker Luis Jimenez.

The Chile international joined Parma in January after an ill-fated spell on-loan at West Ham United.

Leonardi said: "Jimenez said he wants to stay? His words give us pleasure, but it is a conversation that we must face in time with Inter."
