Arsenal hero Ray Parlour has called on the club to cash in on Robin van Persie.

Parlour insists the Gunners must flog their skipper and reinvest the cash on new recruits.

He said: "Arsenal need to sell Robin to the highest bidder and if they can get £15million for him, give it to Arsene who can buy someone else.

"The fans need a lift. Get the money and make a big signing such as Papiss Cisse at Newcastle. Once he starts scoring for fun, the supporters will soon forget about Robin
