Parkinson full of praise for giant-killing Bradford

Phil Parkinson has heaped praise on his Bradford City side following their shock 3-1 win over Aston Villa tonight.

The Bantams now have one foot in the Capital One Cup final following the semi-final first leg and Parkinson, whose side beat Arsenal in the last phase, was again extremely proud of his group for producing such a magnificent performance.

"To score three against a Premier League team is an outstanding achievement," he said.

"We played so well. They had an attacking line-up and left space, so we passed it well. They had chances but so we did we. All round, the lads were magnificent.

"But let's not get carried away, we will be respectful and go to Villa Park and do it all again.

"Villa will be favourites and people will expect them to beat us. We'll try and replicate what we did tonight in two weeks' time."
