South Korea captain Park Ji-sung was name Manchester United's Player of the Month. Park was voted for by fans on United's official website for his brilliant form in March and was delighted to have won the award.

"It's a great pleasure for me. It's the first time I've won Player of the Month since joining United and I agree that this season has been one of the best on a personal level," he said from South Korea's training camp.

Despite his own and the club's brilliant performances, Park believes there is much to improve.

"I know I can improve, especially in the goals department," he told the club's official website.

"I'd like to thank all the fans who voted for me and I promise I'll do my best and try to perform even better during the last few months of the season."
