Pardew remains confident Newcastle keeping Remy

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is confident of keeping hold of on-loan QPR striker Loic Remy.

Toon do not have the option of signing Remy permanently and will face competition for his signature at the end of the season.

But Pardew told Absolute Radio: "He has been terrific, he is a lovely young boy. I think he has got great technical ability, and he is going to have a great career in the Premier League for sure.

"And hopefully with us, we feel we can sign him, we have the finance to do that, but of course probably at the end of the year, Loic and his agent and his representatives will decide where his future is."

Pardew was speaking to Absolute Radio's Rock 'N' Roll Football with Ian Wright, Saturdays from 5pm. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football.
