Henning Berg has been added to IFK Gothenburg's managerial shortlist.

Mikael Stahre left IFK several weeks ago, with the Swedes now seeking a permanent replacement.

Former Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has expressed interest in the job.

Sportbladet says IFK management have made contact with Berg, who was recently fired from Cypriot side Pafos FC.

Berg is a former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers defender.
