Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says he's deliberately building a new, young team.
Against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup, Pardew will give more youngsters a chance in the clash tonight with the likes of Adam Armstrong, Ayoze Perez and Sammy Ameobi all in contention.
"This team needs my help.
"They are a young team.
"As much criticism as I have had, I've also had some great backing.
"We've got young players who are learning their trade and I'm learning about them."
