Ghana fullback John Pantsil says Fulham's fans have had a major influence on their excellent start to the season.

"It's been a good start but we haven't done it alone," Pantsil told fulhamfc.com. "The fans have given us everything possible to win games and we do appreciate everything they do. We need the fans - we must all work together and fight together.

"We will need them more than ever for our game against Blackburn this weekend. I'd like to see them come in their numbers on Saturday.

"As a player it gives you more confidence, determination and motivation when you have your fans behind you, especially away from home.

"Hopefully we can get another good result this weekend but nothing is possible without the fans. What I'm saying to the supporters is that we need them wherever we go and when we see them everything will be fine for us.

"This will bring success to the Club and we can all enjoy it. I'm very confident in myself, the players and the Manager. We believe in ourselves and we know anything is possible."
