Greek club Panathinaikos have grabbed Liverpool youngster Damien Plessis on a permanent deal.
The 22-year old Frenchman was not expected to be used by Roy Hodgson this season so decided it best if he move on and has penned a four-year deal, delighting the Greek champions.
"Panathinaikos announces an agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of Damien Plessis," read a statement released on the club's official website.
"The player has signed a four-year contract with our club."
Plessis appeared just eight times in three years at Anfield after joining from Lyons' youth academy in 2007.
