Palermo are launching a £4 million bid for Ajax midfielder Hedwiges Maduro.

The Holland international is being lined up by Palermo as a replacement for Manchester City-bound Mark Bresciano.

Maduro, 22, has less than 12 months left on his existing contract and is also a target for Fioretina and Juventus.
