Palermo have made an offer for Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed his interest in the striker this week.

Italian sources say Zamparini has offered €700,000 to buy Balotelli, with a demand that Liverpool also assist in paying a percentage of his wages.

Liverpool are desperate to clear the Italian off the books and Palermo's offer could be enough to sell.

Local Sicilian celebs and identities are in contact with Balotelli urging him to make the move to Palermo.
