Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini had no problem with Franco Vazquez's blast over the sacking of Beppe Iachini.

Vazquez took to social media today to call the sacking “an injustice," thanking Iachini for his work.

“Vazquez deserves credit for those words, even if he is not authorised to speak publicly about this. He didn't reach the Italy squad thanks to Iachini alone," said Zamparini.

“We would've made January buys even without the change of management, so we will bring in three or four new players."
