Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has warned coach Stefano Pioli his job is not safe.

The Rosanero have struggled in pre-season and their Europa League exit to Thun only complicated matters for the tactician.

"There are some serious problems and I am very worried," fiery chief Zamparini has openly admitted.

"Things are getting worse and it is not just down to the players, it's to do with their physical condition and their positions on the pitch.

"Pioli? Nobody's job is safe…"
