Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini insists coach Bortolo Mutti is safe.

There were reports Devis Mangia would be recalled after three consecutive defeats, including last night's 1-0 to Roma.

"Mutti is not at risk, but he needs to understand that being too nice sometimes doesn't pay off," declared Zamparini on Reterete24.it.

"He has to take the team in hand, as these players need to be pulled by the hair and made to be more aggressive.

"Again yesterday, especially in the first half, I saw very little grit out there. I repeat, Mutti is not at risk and is working well."
