Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is convinced they can finish in the top four.
The Rosanero are in the Champions League places after last weekend's win at Juventus.
Zamparini said: "We're not worthy of the Scudetto, but we are in the group that has to its back three great teams focused on the Champions and Europa League.
"We can fight for Europe. We can't let it go to our heads. We need continuity.
"Delio Rossi has made Palermo become a team. I was very lucky to find him free. Actually, I asked my director of sport why he didn't bring me Rossi before, seeing that he knew him from his time with Lazio.
"Rossi is calm and very sure of himself. He is convinced of his work. He has a great relationship with the players and always keeps the club's needs in consideration.
"However, I don't want to praise him too much, otherwise they will take him away from me. I want to keep him here for many years,"
