Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says he's willing to send Fabio Simplicio to Lazio - but only in exchange for Goran Pandev.
"The only counter-offer would have been Pandev, but he doesn't want to come here," said Palermo President Zamparini.
"Nothing has been decided yet, so you could say we are both close and far away from completing the move.
"If [Lazio President Claudio] Lotito wants him, then he has to pay the whole transfer fee in cash, as I'm not interested in any of his players other than Pandev."
There is still a good chance that Simplicio could leave Sicily for a different club, as confirmed by Zamparini.
"Napoli have asked for both Simplicio and [Antonio] Nocerino. It is good to know that other clubs envy us our players and we will take good care of them.
"Soon two of the best players around will be joining us. You'll see what these lads are made of. Palermo will make its fans very happy, we are building a great squad."
