Palermo fullback Mattia Cassani had no complaints with Italy's 0-0 draw in Northern Ireland.
Cassani believes the goalless draw in Belfast will serve as "useful experience" for the Azzurri.
"It was a good defensive game and everyone worked hard. These away games in difficult arenas are very useful for giving us experience and a greater sense of unity," said the Palermo defender.
"We were very focused, kept it tight and did what the Coach asked of us. We have a great deal of quality in attack.
"It didn't go well tonight, but will in future. The important thing is we came here, took charge and created many chances."
