Palace winger Bolasie admits AFCON timing frustration

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie admits frustration over the timing of the African Cup of Nations.

DR Congo international Bolasie admits leaving Palace, who are a point above the bottom three following their 0-0 draw against Spurs, at an important time will be tough.

"Definitely," he said. "It is a double-edged sword. The last time the Africa Cup of Nations was on, I decided to stay at Palace.

"Firstly the aim is to leave Palace in a good position. If we play like we did on Saturday, we are going to get more results."
