Crystal Palace have reopened talks with Tony Pulis about the manager's job.
The Daily Star says former Stoke boss Pulis had ruled himself out of the running to replace Ian Holloway after the Eagles scoffed at his salary request.
But bottom-of-the-table Palace have failed to land any of their other top targets, including Aitor Karanka, Chris Coleman and Dan Petrescu.
That has forced chairman Steve Parish into a rethink and he spoke to Pulis' agent on the phone yesterday, with a face-to-face meeting planned for today.
