Crystal Palace are lining up a move for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews.
The People says Palace boss Dougie Freedman wants to rescue Andrews from his Blackburn Rovers misery.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder, 30, is a target for the Ewood Park boo-boys and boss Steve Kean had hoped to use Andrews in away games only. But that plan went wrong when he gave away the first goal at Aston Villa last weekend.
Kean will decide this week whether the loan deal can go ahead.
