Crystal Palace No2 Keith Millen says they're shopping in the loan market.

The Eagles assistant manager points to Daniel Sturridge and Romelu Lukaku, loaned by Chelsea to Bolton and West Brom respectively in recent seasons, to highlight how the right kind of temporary deals can make a huge difference.

Millen told the South London Press: "That can be massive, because you might get the chance to get one or two that you know in the market you couldn't afford.

"You've really got to try and identify the younger players at the top clubs that they might loan out. Quite often it is just about being in the right place at the right time."
