Palace matchwinner Puncheon blanked BBC over penalty taunts

Crystal Palace matchwinner Jason Puncheon blanked the BBC after victory over Stoke City.

The Daily Mail says Puncheon was so furious with the BBC for the way they mocked him on Match of the Day after his penalty miss against Tottenham he refused to speak to them after Crystal Palace defeated Stoke City on Saturday.

His spot kick which some branded one of the worst misses in Barclays Premier League history.

Palace boss Tony Pulis remarked: "He gets paid not to sulk.

"This is the way football is. You get good times and bad times. It's about dealing with both in the same way."
