Palace chief Parish still hopes to convince Pulis

Crystal Palace may seek a different management structure if they cannot agree terms with former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis.

The Daily Express says Pulis wants a salary similar to the £1.5million a year he was earning at the Britannia Stadium, plus a bonus if he keeps bottom-of-the-table Palace up. That wage is well in excess of what Holloway earned, but further talks between Pulis and Palace will take place in the next 48 hours.

Chairman Steve Parish is also contemplating the option of bringing in an experienced director of football, with former managers Steve Coppell and Neil Warnock, as well as ex-West Ham and Charlton boss Alan Curbishley all in the frame for that role.
