Crystal Palace face drawing a blank with Dinamo Moscow coach Dan Petrescu.
The Mirror says Petrescu will say 'yes' to Crystal Palace and become their next manager - if he is offered a long-term deal.
The former Chelsea defender is prepared to come back to England from Russian side Dinamo Moscow and is the south Londoners' new first choice to succeed Ian Holloway.
However, Petrescu will not quit his well-paid post in Moscow unless Palace are talking about a two- or three-year stay.
Palace chief Steve Parish would prefer a short-term solution to the end of this season.
