Palace boss Warnock frustrated losing Jedinak to Asian Cup

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is frustrated losing skipper Mile Jedinak to Australia's Asian Cup campaign.

Jedinak is one of the key players at Selhurst Park and has scored in each of Palace's last two games. But the club will be without him for at least the first half of January as he will represent his country in the Asian Cup on home soil.

"We will miss him," Warnock admitted. "He is the leader of the camp. Everything on and off the field revolves around him. There is the Africa Cup of Nations at about the same time, too, so it will be difficult for a lot of teams in the Premier League in January and February. Mile has been able to push forward more than usual this season, too, and I think he can score more goals."
