Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has taken a pop at Newcastle United's transfer policy.
Pardew feels his former club is paying for not working the January market.
"Newcastle were ninth when I left, with 26 points from 19 games," said Pardew.
"They had a transfer window coming up as well, so they were in a good position, but they didn't capitalise on that. I can't give you a reason for that."
