Valencia striker Paco Alcacer has urged his teammate Nicolas Otamendi to turn down an offer to join Manchester United.
The Argentina international has been constantly linked with United in the summer transfer window and Spanish media has claimed that Otamendi's agent Eugenio Lopez traveled to Manchester to meet with Red Devils officials last week.
Regarding the rumours, Alcacer has made it clear that he wants Los Che's key central defender to stay put at the Mestalla.
Alcacer told AS: "Nico is a major player and I would love him to stay. He is a key player for Valencia. If I said I did not want to stay, I'd be lying.
"Otamendi, Shkodran Mustafi, Lucas Orban and Ruben Vezo are all important. If they are playing, they will make those who play, do better."
