Pacheta is already fighting for his job at Villarreal.

Just weeks after replacing Quique Setien as Villarreal coach, Pacheta is now being discussed inside the club's board room.

With Marcelino available, Villarreal are considering a second dismissal in three months, says Sport.

Villarreal have managed four wins in 11 games under Pacheta and while solid, the results do not meet the expectations of the board.

Interestingly, after defeat at home to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, Villarreal captain Raul Albiol was seen in deep conversation with chief exec Fernando Roig for 15 minutes on the La Cerámica pitch.

It's suggested a decision could be made this week.
