Pablo Fornals proud to be West Ham matchwinner: Now for Prague!

Pablo Fornals is proud to have been West Ham matchwinner last night.

Fornals struck late on as West Ham won 1-0 at AZ Alkmaar to reach the Europa Conference League final 3-1 on aggregate.

The Irons will face Fiorentina in Prague and Fornals told whufc.com: "You can imagine what it felt like to score the winner!

"For this Club, for all these players, for all the fanbase, we obviously know that it was not the best season for us, but we could finish it so unbelievably in a few weeks. We could make this Club so proud!

"The team who is playing regularly is doing great, but the lads who, like me, are training every day to get a spot are doing their job as well.

"We are training hard and working hard as professionals for nights like this. It's what we have to do because football is not just eleven against eleven.

"It can happen in a match like this than you can have a chance to play, like a few of the lads did tonight, and obviously I'm really happy for all of them.

"It's massive.

"I am really pleased to be at this Club at this moment and in its big history. And I am really happy to write our names in another chapter.

"We work really hard, but we want to win in Prague.

"A few days after the final will be my wedding too but I have to now make that day even better. It would be unbelievable if I can do both well."
