Ozil convinced he can outlast Emery at Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil believes he can 'wait out' Unai Emery rather than a seek a transfer.

Ozil has been frozen out by Emery, but will wait to see whether the Arsenal boss lasts beyond the end of this season before deciding on his future.

The midfielder is Arsenal's highest-paid player on £350,000 a week, but has started only two games this season and has not featured in the squad at all since the middle of September.

He has been linked with LA Galaxy as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Bleacher Report claims Ozil believes there is a chance Emery could leave Arsenal before he does - which would potentially mean a new manager giving the 30-year-old the chance to start again from a clean slate.
