Manchester United striker Michael Owen may be squeezed out of Old Trafford this summer.
Owen comes off contract in June.
The Manchester Evening News says Owen signed a two-year deal when he arrived in 2009 and has the option of an extra year.
But with the probable returns after loan spells of Danny Welbeck and Federico Macheda the striker picture is going to be further muddied for Owen.
