Over 15,000 fans turned up at the Vicente Calderon to welcome Atletico Madrid record signing Radamel Falcao.

The Colombia international moved from Porto for €40 million last week.

"I am very happy. Happy with the effort made by Atletico and also the way I have been received. I am positive and I will play with heart," said Falcao.

"Obviously I'd like to be top scorer, but I'm not putting my personal goals ahead of the team. Atleti is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I come to contribute."

On his price-tag, Falcao added: "I do not feel pressure because this club is made up of many people. I was raised to be a focused person and I have my priorities straight."
