Chelsea had a deal struck with Internacional for Oscar before he boarded a plane for London earlier this week.
While he completed his medical yesterday at Cobham, Globoesporte says the first-half of the tests were actually conducted in Rio de Janeiro, where he was examined by Chelsea doctors.
The offer of £25 million accepted by Inter for Oscar represents a 400 per cent profit on their original deal for the youngster, including a fine for the manner they signed him from Sao Paulo.
Only in January, Oscar appeared on the way to QPR for £5 million, but for a UK work permit panel to block the deal.
