Australian subscription streaming service Optus Sport has secured exclusive live rights to the upcoming 2019 Fifa Club World Cup held in Qatar, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
Highlights from every match from the 11-day tournament, which features the winners from the world's six premier continental club competitions, including European champions Liverpool, will also be made available on the platform. Optus' Club World Cup coverage also extends to its new in-house Scores on Sunday programme.
The agreement extends to the 2020 Fifa Club World Cup, which will also be held in Qatar,
This year's Club World Cup, due to take place between 11th and 21st December, will be held across three venues in Qatar's capital city of Doha, and marks the country's first test event before it hosts the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
