Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha is not a fan of Aaron Ramsdale.
The Arsenal shot stopper is being given a lot of praise by fans and pundits for how he has responded to being dropped from the team.
Ramsdale's replacement, David Raya, has made a couple of high profile errors since taking the starting job.
Onuoha, however, believes that Raya is very much capable of being the club's best keeper.
“I think what we're experiencing here is recency bias because come the end of last season, Ramsdale was making some mistakes which were costing Arsenal goals. But because they liked him, they cheered him on and hoped for the best," Onuoha told ESPN.
“But I think now there's competition between the two, or I say competition, now that Arteta has two to choose from, then the conversation is different. If you want to play in a certain style, goalkeepers will make mistakes."
