O'Neill ponders Sunderland future for Ji, Wickham and Elmohamady

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is unsure of the long-term value of Ji Dong-won, Ahmed Elmohamady and Connor Wickham.

The Journal says O'Neill expressed the view he needed to see fringe players such as Ji, Elmohamady and Wickham playing Premier League football to properly assess their value to the squad.

Elmohamady appears the most vulnerable at the moment.
