Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill feels Nicklas Bendtner can be pleased with his form this season.
The Dane has been playing for Sunderland on-loan from Arsenal.
"He's capable of scoring more goals, and more importantly he feels that," O'Neill told The Journal.
"He played a lot of times at Arsenal out wide so maybe there's a bit of a re-adjustment going on.
"I've been pleased with him, but if he could add a few extra goals, which I think he's capable of doing, I think he'd be pleased with his efforts up here.""He thinks he can find the net more often rather than heading off out to the wing.
