West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson says he will treat the pre-season tour to the USA just like he does a Premier League season.
The Baggies are in action against MLS outfit San Jose Earthquakes in California tonight and the Swede says he will be up for the match as if it is a meeting in England's top flight.
"I always hear that the results aren't too important in pre-season. But everyone here, when they play a game, wants to win," he told Express & Star.
"If you ask the physical team and the medical team, they'll say it's about getting fitness. If you ask the gaffer, it's about getting the tactical things right.
"It is a training game so it's about getting all of those things - but you want a result as well. You always want a result.
"Personally, I don't think I can approach games or training in any other way than giving it my best and giving all I have.
"I don't think I have it in me to do it any other way."
