Olsson: Hughton presence influenced Norwich choice

Martin Olsson admits Chris Hughton's presence was key to signing for Norwich City.

Olsson, a reported £2.5m arrival from Blackburn, was happy to be Norwich's latest summer arrival.

"I'm very happy - it feels good to be back in the Premier League again, to be with a Premier League club, so I'm excited," the Sweden international told the Pink 'Un.

"My dream was always to play in the Premier League again. I went down into the Championship and it was a good lesson for me as well. I learned a lot of things. But I'm at a new club now, so I'm looking forward to being with the players and enjoying my time here.

"I had a few other clubs interested but I think Chris gave me a good idea of how he wanted to play and the ambition of this club. And you just see from the new signings they've done as well, and there will be a few more coming in maybe.

"So he told me the whole thing and told me he was excited, and it's looking like a great ambition he is trying to do here."
