Former Leeds United boss David O'Leary isn't surprised to see Harry Kewell no longer playing at the top in the Premiership. O'Leary branded former Leeds favourite Harry Kewell as 'overhyped' and said he wasn't surprised the Aussie signed for Galatasaray last year.
Kewell angered the Elland Road faithful by joining the Turkish giants who were Leeds' UEFA Cup semi-final opponents in 2000. Two Leeds fans were killed in Istanbul on the night prior to the game .
O'Leary told the Daily Mail: "It didn't surprise me with Kewell. He was a cold boy. I told Peter Ridsdale to take the money before people realised about him.
"Gerard Houllier was a friend and asked me about him and I told him he'd peaked young and I thought he wouldn't go on to do much."
