League One side Oldham Athletic have signed former Everton striker Jose Baxter on a four-month contract, reports BBC Sport. The 20-year-old left Goodison Park in the summer, despite being offered a two-year deal, and has been training with the Latics this week.
He goes straight into Paul Dickov's squad to face Notts County on Saturday.
